VILLA DRN | Archello Awards 2026 Longlist – Housing Interior of the Year

20 ottobre 2026

The interior of a house expresses the way a family wants to live: putting the kitchen central as the buzzing heart of the house, focused on the view or garden with different sitting areas, or focused around large tables to wine and dine with friends and family… each housing interior will be highly personal. Whatever the concept, it’s in the execution where the craftsmanship of the interior designer or architect comes to light.

Villa DRN disrupts the dominant luxury model in the Gulf, replacing decorative ostentation with a rigorous discipline of matter and space. The project’s main achievement lies in its ability to translate bespoke Italian craftsmanship to a monumental scale: the interiors are not merely "furnished" but literally sculpted, transforming custom elements into a natural extension of the architecture itself.
